Our story is like no other story. Adam and I met on Hinge and talked for over a month. Then Hurricane Helen hit WNC. Adam lost contact with me because all cell phone services were down in the area. Adam went to Atlanta and bought two generators and a chainsaw and attempted to come up the mountain to ensure my family and I were all alive and safe. The first day Adam was able to get to Mills River NC but was not able to make it past there due to flooded roads and down trees.

Adam was able to make it to Rosman early Monday morning. Adam jumped right in and worked to help ensure that My family and my home were safe and taken care of. From that moment I knew Adam was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

While I was confident in knowing Adam was my person, when I was able to meet Ellie, Adam's daughter I knew without a shadow doubt that they both were meant to be my people forever.

Adam popped the question on March 8 2025 and it was the easiest yes that I have ever said.

We are so excited to start a new life as the three of us.
